The latest HTH Live Broadcast features a "Lemonade Chat" interview with English teacher and musical director Mr. Coonan.

Hosted by John and Jordan—with a lunch and weather recap from Aiden and refreshments from Sean—the episode highlights fun trivia about the district's beloved theater director:

• 135 Shows: Mr. Coonan revealed that Malverne’s recent production of Chicago marked his 135th time directing.

• Broadway Favorite: His top Broadway show is Les Misérables, which Malverne proudly staged on campus in 2021.

• Fun Facts: If he were an animal, he’d be a sea otter. His biggest pet peeve is drivers who don't use turn signals.

• Story Time: He shared a funny childhood story about getting his hand stuck in a plastic school chair in the fifth grade.

• Signature Move: The segment wrapped up with a demonstration of his go-to wedding dance move ("all in the shoulders").

The high-energy broadcast showcased the excellent interviewing and technical talents of our student video production crew.
